New CIHR-funded Research Grant ($883,754) for a dual-site randomized clinical trial
Posted on 23 août 2013
Professors Normand (Université du Québec en Outaouais, Ottawa/Gatineau) and Amori Mikami (University of British Columbia, Vancouver) have started a new study in fall 2013. The study will compare the efficacy of two new parent-based intervention programs. These programs are designed to teach parents how to help their child (6-11 years of age) with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) make and keep good friends. Researchers will investigate whether or not these two intervention programs are useful in different ways or for different types of difficulties. This study is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
